Worm bin was a waste of time, $, and recycled material

The worm bin itself was not at all useful. I tried to use it all last spring & summer but it was a mess. I finally washed it and gave it to a local second hand store. Waste of time and money

Urban Worm Bin

Meh. I am sure it is something I am doing, but the worms escape this bin. I followed the instruction and at first, I lost a TON of worms. Things have settled down, but I still loose worms here and there. I bought the worms from Meme's - as recommended. This bin immediately had gnats. Before I even fed them. I have two worm factory 360 bins that do way better. I have not harvested yet, so I can't comment on that.

I have been buying my worm bin products from Urban Worm for many years now. I love the quality of the blankets, and whats even better, my worms love them too. I lift the blanket and they are snuggled in and happy. It is a nice way to keep pests away from the worms food also. Adding just one coir brick to my bin goes a long way. I know the worms for their , living quarters, and I like it because it adds moisture to the bin. I will definitely continue to purchase these products from the Urban Worm.
