United StatesThe non-zippered bottom design change to velcro is great. It is a lot easier to leave open or close. I am happy that I moved in my worms so easily and my worms are happy as well. No escapees. I hope to be producing new compost quickly. This is the best, easy system for a hobby gardener like me!
United StatesI’ve had an UWB for about 5 years now. Just got a replacement for my bag that had a zipper underneath that got all gummed up and wouldn’t work anymore. This replacement has a tie underneath that should last longer. Tried my first harvest with this bag and no issues. I like the quality of the castings that it produces and am looking forward to years of composting with it.
United Statesit’s STILL in the box, never opened bc i realized i should’ve bought the frame when it was on sale, but i’d thought i could make one, but soon realized i don’t have the time to figure it out. then walking my dog soon after receiving your worm bag, a neighbor was giving away a plastic “box” w/ layers for the worms, which i picked up and brought home. I still haven’t set it up, and your bag is still in the box. (i’m retired so very low on funds, but interested in worm cultivation!) thanks! i loved watching your shows about starting the worms. United StatesThe worms have gotten accustomed to their new haus! It keeps them nice and snug. I like the funnel like shape. The top area’s opening is easy to access. I like that though a few times I found the worms have climbed up the sides due to moisture, none have escaped through the tight zipper closure. The worms purchased through Urban Worm company are more robust than the ones from another company.
United StatesMy worms thrive in the urban worm bag. I don’t worry about a couple hundred worms mixed in with casting when I harvest castings. They multiply faster than a herd of rabbits. I feed them a homemade (internet found recipe) worm food and all vegetables scrap, watermelon rinds and cardboard. The Urban Worm Bag is fantastic. Thanks Loren Queen
