Our supplier of worm castings is OMRI listed. By summer 2023, Urban Worm Company Worm Castings themselves will be OMRI-approved as our supplier is our sole source of worm castings. If you require an OMRI certificate, please e-mail us at admin@urbanwormcompany.com and we can discuss a direct purchase from our OMRI-listed castings supplier.
Yes. Please e-mail us at admin@urbanwormcompany.com to inquire about local pickup at our supplier's farm in Wisconsin. Smaller quantities may also be picked up at our Plymouth Meeting, PA location.
For our 2250lb totes, we can general ship within 1-2 business days with anywhere from a 2-6 day transit time depending on distance and your proximity to major transportation lanes. If you intend to purchase our 1000lb or 2000lb bags, add one day of lead time.
If stored in a sheltered or indoor location away from direct UV light, the worm castings will store well for 6 months or more. We have tested both fresh and 6-month old castings from the same batch and the tests were very similar to one another. We tended to see a decrease in nematodes but an increase in fungal biomass with our 6-month castings.

Please inquire about our capacity as it fluctuates by season. We are generally able to accommodate 2-5 truckload orders but for quantities beyond that, we will need to work with you to develop a shipping plan. We may also have similar, but not OMRI-approved sources of worm castings available for purchase if your needs outstrip our supply.
